F&#8217;or me, it reveals the way a poem &#8212; in part by its very ambiguity, in part by it&#8217;s &#8220;rhythm&#8221; &#8212; reveals nature, ecology, big mind, little mind, egoic mind, etc.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecopsychology.org\/gatherings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/easiest-to-relate-to-the-air.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-816\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ecopsychology.org\/gatherings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/easiest-to-relate-to-the-air.jpg\" alt=\"easiest-to-relate-to-the-air\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ecopsychology.org\/gatherings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/easiest-to-relate-to-the-air.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.ecopsychology.org\/gatherings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/easiest-to-relate-to-the-air-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ecopsychology.org\/gatherings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/easiest-to-relate-to-the-air-320x213.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.ecopsychology.org\/gatherings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/easiest-to-relate-to-the-air-145x97.jpg 145w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a>Once there was a time when it was necessary<br \/>\nto remove ourselves from nature. Once.<br \/>\nTo distinguish, to see within<br \/>\nthese selves is the objective. It&#8217;s second nature<\/p>\n<p>now. This chain-of-being buried<br \/>\n&amp; nearly forgotten. Paved over in sediment<br \/>\nlike walled in cities, lessons in childhood,<br \/>\nother experiences qualified or in need of<\/p>\n<p>the missing link. &#8220;Man is held highest on Earth<br \/>\n&amp; below the Angels.&#8221; The intention:<br \/>\ntoward God. Then later, toward a controlled state &#8211;<br \/>\ntechnology. The competition is fierce<\/p>\n<p>&amp; it is not. An Angel (many?) who inhabits<br \/>\nthe rock suggests you skip its flat surface<br \/>\non the river. Interfacing the world of eyes,<br \/>\nyou pick it up: sentient self awareness<\/p>\n<p>beyond the organs of particularity. Yes, you are<br \/>\nthe rock &amp; each plant &amp; animal whose dust<br \/>\ncompresses here.
